Sathram Palliative and Community Care Centre, established on April 25, 2022, in the village of Kandamthitta, Trivandrum, Kerala, is a non-profit organization founded to provide compassionate care to individuals facing life-limiting conditions. The name ‘Sathram’ translates to ‘a resting place in life’s journey,’ representing our mission to be a place of hope, comfort, and support for those in need.

We are committed to walking with patients and families through challenging times, ensuring that they feel seen, supported, and valued, irrespective of their gender, caste, or religion.

Our Inspiration and Values

Sathram operates with inspiration from the compassionate ministry of Jesus Christ. We believe in embodying care, empathy, and love through every service we offer. Sathram Palliative Care Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing holistic care and support to individuals and families affected by life-limiting illnesses, with a special focus on palliative and geriatric care support at their home un rural and tribal communities.

What We Do

At Sathram, we offer a wide range of services to support patients and their families:

Home-Based Care

Palliative care services delivered at home, bringing medical support to patients in their comfort zone.

In-Patient Care

Full-time care for patients needing intensive, round-the-clock assistance.

Out-Patient Clinic

Daily medical consultations and counseling services for those not requiring admission.

Medical Camps

Community outreach programs that extend our care to underserved areas.

Counseling & Spiritual Care

Emotional and spiritual guidance for patients and their families during challenging times.

Our Impact

Since our inception, we have directly and indirectly supported 90-100 patients every month, offering them medical care, emotional support, and spiritual guidance. Our network of passionate volunteers and well-wishers plays a crucial role in sustaining our operations and expanding our impact within the community.
